The Story

For 17 years, there has been a prayer ministry in the heart of Reno with a message of reaching in relationship believing that our city would turn back to Jesus. In 2021 the Lord spoke to the leaders of Nevada House of Prayer-Reno through YWAM-Reno (Youth With A Mission-Reno) missionaries that it was time. Time to collaborate, unite and build, as part of the fulfillment to their faithful years of prayer and worship.

In response to the Word of the Lord, a collaboration of ministries gathered together in the NVHOP-Reno prayer room believing that a grassroots movement must be mobilized. Nehemiah chapter 4 would be our marching orders verses 14 and 20 our rallying cry. Each leader made a commitment to do whatever it would take to see the building of community and collaboration among churches and in Reno; unto a worship and prayer movement that carries on until the return of Jesus. IT’S TIME was born.

What started as a dream in our hearts has become a reality. People from every church, and all walks of life are joining together to unite around Jesus and declare one thing – A COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY. We’re asking every attendee to commit to community and collaboration and to take immediate steps to begin to reach out to friends, family, other organizations, and agencies to see greater collaboration happen across the church and our community in an impactful way. Let's step into a new season. It’s time.
